Abstract:

The mosaicing of various regions from different images requires image segmentation, registration and image fusion. Aiming at achieving a state-of-the-art image mosaic effect, a novel fade-in-and-fade-out image fusion algorithm based on dilation is proposed, which uses the morphological method to improve the effect of image mosaic obviously. Several experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is more effective than other methods.
