Abstract:

The problem of Uighur line breaking in the Uighur version of LibreOffice suite is analyzed and studied thoroughly.A series of Uighur language line breaking rules are summarized, taking the line width and aesthetic needs into account to,and the connection shaped the left or right and plus connect characters elongated separator are explored. Based on the localization framework research on the open-source office software LibreOffice, a syllable-based line breaking technology and an automatic elongated technology are proposed, the Uighur syllable-based line breaking algorithm is designed,which is applied in Uighur LibreOffice.
