A metadata classification indexing algorithm
for drinking water safety project information

Abstract:

The current developmental trends and the main types of the drinking water safety project data are analyzed.Considering the characteristics of the drinking water safety project data,a core metadata model applied in the drinking water safety is proposed, and the structure and content of the core metadata of the drinking water safety project are designed.The core metadata of the drinking water safety project can be divided into five parts:identity information, data quality information, content information, space reference information and distribution information whose construction is described respectively. A metadata classification algorithm is designed, which conforms to the drinking water safety project data.The metadata classification indexing algorithm improves the management and work efficiency of rural drinking water safety compared with the subtree partitioning algorithm and the Hash algorithm.
