Abstract:

Since the current virtual human models constructed directly by using the Chinese anthropometry data only have a single bone or skin layer,it is not easy to control virtual human realtime motion and skin dynamic deformation simultaneously. Therefore we present a virtual human modeling method combining the 19 sets of Chinese anthropometry feature data of GB 1000088.We construct a virtual human skin mesh by 3ds max,a virtual bone joint movement model by hierarchical modeling method, and a virtual human model by the quaternion spherical vertexs blending interpolation technology. The experimental results show that the proposed method can construct a doublelayer virtual human model, which is significant for accurately performing  the virtual human role modeling, skin realistic deformation, realtime motion simulation and humancomputer ergonomics analysis on the Chinese anthropometry data.
