Global consistency issues in distributed
simulation systems

Abstract:

System consistency is the basis and premise of distributed simulation applications (DSAs). In order to improve the global consistency degree and gain realistic and credible simulation results in DSAs, we firstly elaborate the global consistency problems and then describe the global inconsistency phenomena systematically. On this basis, we analyze the global consistency requirements of DSAs, and provide some effective control measures and advice for generalized consistency control in model domain, service domain and perceive domain, which can provide technical and methodological guidance for the design and development of DSAs.
