Abstract:

In micro-blog networks, each node represents a micro-blog user. In addition to the existence of social relations between users, individual users also have their own characteristics. The explicit link relationship between users can provide important clues to community discovery. If two users have common interests we can put them to the same community, even if no explicit connection exists between users. However, most of the traditional community discovery methods only consider one of the abovementioned aspects, so we present a micro-blog community detection method based on links and user interests. Simulation results on real data sets verify that the proposed method is reasonable and effective.
