Correlation coefficients of intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy
sets and their applications in group recommendation

Abstract:

There are some group recommendation systems which are described by the information of intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy sets (IHFS). Fristly, in view of the problems existing in the calculation of the similarity between two intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy sets by distance formula, we define the concept of correlation coefficient of the intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set. Secondly, we apply the correlation coefficient measures to group recommendation under the intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy environment, and analyze the difference between the formulas of the correlation coefficient and the distance formulas. Finally, a practical example of movie recommendation is given to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
