Abstract: In the recent 10 years, nonphotorealistic rendering (NPR), a new realm of computer graphics and pictures, is rapidly growing. The emergence of NPR makes the rendering become more selectable, more individual and more artistical, which provides more targets and more choices than before. Recently, nonphotorealistic rendering develops rapidly. The art of simple painting has developed rapidly in many fields,such as magazines, films and cartoon, advertisement, commodity packing, environment decoration and design, garden sight, city planning and architecture design, and so on. There are many kinds of simple paintings. We will mainly discuss how to get a simple painting rapidly and exactly. And we still can not finish a simple painting quickly by the computer graphics. As for the situation, a new method is put forward to simulate and create a simple painting by the computer to recure this kind of art.
