An AgentBased Framework for the Orchestration of Semantic Web Services

Abstract:

For the complex business requirements in dynamic and open networks environments, we propose a novel orchestration method for Semantic Web Services using agents and ontology on the basis of our early research work on SPL (Semantic Programming Language). Moreover, we introduce a technological framework for the orchestration of semantic web services. With SPL as the core, the framework can seamlessly integrate Semantic Web Services with the agent technology. The implementation of framework is based on the platform of development and execution for SPL. This platform can support the execution of Semantic Web Services and software agents.
