Abstract:

The design of a security protocol which satisfies the security demands is a very important task, but there is no effective method. The fail-stop proto col comes to a full stop when attacks occurr. In this paper,a new method of desiging a fail-stop protocol is proposed. The security flaws of an earlier   version of the SSL protocol is analyzed and are mended by our method.
