Abstract:

Extreme modeling is the outcome of combining UML with XP, and its main purpose is making the model executable and testable. Executable UML is the foun dation of Model Driven Architecture （MDA）, which is popular recently. We put forth an idea that on the basis of the extreme modeling software developm  ment methodology, bringing in the technology of executable UML will make it better. In this article, the feasibility and effect of combining them are discussed, and a corresponding instance is given at the end of the article.
