Abstract:

IPv6 site multihoming is an important service manner of the next generation Internet, making use of the prima- ry links or the secondary links to sendpackets. Selecting the secondary links can keep session survivability, which conflicts with the ingress filtering of the upstream Internet Service Prov ider. To solve the issue, this paper presents a site multihom- ing method based on Source Address Sheltering, which can maintain session survivability.  Comparing with other multihom- ing methods in the experiment, the method has more superior performance merits.
