Abstract:

The combination of Web services and agents stands for one of the development directions of the web technology. Service agents can manage a group of closely related Web services and provide comprehensive and integrated services for the environment. The ability of service agents is based on a set of plans which are constituted internally. In this paper, a structure definition of service agents model is proposed, on the basis of the BDI agent. The semantic model based on goal ontology and the syntactic model grounded upon the ECA rules for plan is defined, and the model is used for implementing eventdriven plan scheduling and execution. Then the paper introduces the service agent modeling GUI framework, which is designed and implemented according to the service agent model. At the end of the paper, an example is introduced.
