Abstract:

With the rapid development of the Internet, endtoend communications are facing  new challenges on connectivity, mobility and security, mainly due to the widely deployed middleboxes on the edge of networks and the popularity of some new applications. Based on this, researchers bring forth many related solutions. This paper gives a review of the related works, and analyzes some challenging problems of the research, and then makes an analysis, and compares some representative solutions. Finally, the development trends on endtoend communications are discussed.
