Virtual Plant Model Parameters Optimization and Simulation

Abstract:

Aimed at the problem of large quantities of interactive parameters in fractal tree generation algorithms, this paper proposes a random transform plant model parameter optimization method for fast drawing lots of different plant’s forms and simply simulating the growth of plant form sequences. This method analyzes the relationship between plant model parameters so as to simplify parameter settings. The method can generate high customersatisfied graphics in the scene which focuses on drawing multiplants fast and simply simulating the growth of plants. We describe the core ideas and experimental process, and the algorithm can be used for the simplified modeling and provides a high reference value for interactive operations.
