Abstract:

As the most important means of software quality assurance, software test has been receiving an adequate attention in the community. To verify the software be content with the users’ requirements and expose its bugs as more as possible in a limited period, human resource and budget, it must be done to find the way of promoting the efficiency and quality of test. So, not only be the techniques, methods and tools are researched, but also stress must be laid on the management and improvement of software test process. After learning from CMM, CMMI, TMMi, GJB 50002003 and GJB 5000A2008, this paper presents a software test capability maturity model, which is suitable for thirdparty testing organizations, helping them to improve their test processes, and responsible institute to select testing organizations.
