Abstract:

Aiming at the problem of vehicle scheduling management and realtime data transmission in the grain logistics, this paper provides a method which applies SMS (Short Message Service) to the grain logistics management information system. The paper constructs a grain logistics SMS platform by adopting the Windows services, and describes the key problems encountered and design ideas, and studies the key technologies which SMS applied grain logistics platform, then achieves grain transportation scheduling management, job information management, and realtime monitoring information of the transportation vehicles through SMS. The pilot applications show that the method can be convenient, effective and timely collect, transmit, and manage the logistics information. Finally, this paper summarizes the characteristics and prospects of SMS platform based on windows service.
