Abstract:
The performance of ambiguity resolution is one of the critical factors that influence the GNSS relative positioning precision. Aiming at the requirement of intersatellite relative positioning of formation flying satellites, the main factors of success probability of ambiguity resolution and the corresponding influences are analyzed. Quantitative simulations of ambiguity resolution success probability are carried out based on various scenarios. The success probability can be improved by combing multiple GNSS constellation, increasing observation frequencies and choosing adequate ionosphere models according to the intersatellite baseline length. The conclusions can be a reference of the relative positioning performance prediction as well as the optimal design of formation flying satellite systems.
