Abstract:
Iaas is a basic service model in cloud computing, and virtual machine placement is an important task in IaaS. In this paper, an algorithm based on stochastic programming is proposed to optimize the virtual machine placement under the condition of uncertain demand requirements. This algorithm has considered the factors of both response time and cost, meets the users’ requirements, and reduces their cost at the same time.
