Abstract:

In this paper,the high performance computing and the TH1A supercomputer are introduced.Then this paper provides two important applications with highperformance computing in the field of life science:one is the molecular dynamics simulation,discussing application performance testing and the important application results in the TH1A;the other is bioinformatics research,introducing  good results of the GPU parallel software testing on the TH1A carried out by BGI.Finally,the development trend of highperformance computing in life science is discussed in this paper.
