Abstract:

Ring F2＋uF2 is a four-element ring which shares some good properties of both Z4 and F4. The coding theory over this ring has recently become a new ho  t topic among coding theorists. In this paper, we give the structure of the cyclic codes over F2＋uF2 for arbitrary even lengths, and determine the numb  ber of cyclic codes for a given length.
