Abstract:
With the indepth of oilfield information, it faces the difficulties and challenges of information visualization analysis, different industry personnel collaborative work and information resources sharing. This paper is based on the application of virtual reality technology from the 3d modeling of the VR, introduces the process and modeling and key techniqueexamples technique, LOD, texture mapping and constructing avarious wellbore tools. It constructs a stratigraphic model and uses the particle system techniques to simulate the underground measures. Using this system can accomplish the automatic assembly, wellbore oilwater Wells engineering design, and oil wells measures such as the dynamic 3d display function. The system can provide users with complete information from a database query, can intuitivey show each part of the component information wellbore, completion status and production measures for engineering design personnel, display, reporting, analysis and summarization.
