Abstract:

“Data structure and algorithm” is one of the core courses in computer science specialty, which mainly trains students to solve non-numerical calculation problems, has the ability to select or design appropriate logical structures, storage structures and corresponding algorithms, and enhance the ability of engineering applications. Many current teaching models are mainly based on knowledge and algorithmic ideas, and lack of emphasis on ability training. The main reason is that the problem-solving practice has not been paid enough attention to. This paper introduces the reform regarding teach mode in the school of computer science in Neusoft Institute Guangdong in recent years. The basic contents of the reform include the problem-oriented course reconstruction based on the MOOC+OJ online assessment flipped classroom, and the exploration and practice of “progressive task-driven” in the teaching design process.
