Design of BOPPPS teaching method for
“university computer foundation” course—Taking
understanding decimal and binary as an example

Abstract:

According to the six stages of the basic structure of the BOPPPS model, the teaching content is designed to take students as the center, adopt active learning instead of passive learning, and cultivate the students’ independent learning ability. The effective BOPPPS teaching method in ISW teaching skills is used to carry out the teaching. From the introduction, students are led to participate in learning with great interest. Then, targets are set according to the teaching environment to conduct pre-testing. A variety of teaching skills are adopted to stimulate students’ initiative of participating in classroom activities. Post-testing is conducted to check the learning effect. The teaching results are summarized and consolidated. Effective teaching skills are applied to the teaching process to improve students’ learning ability and improve the teaching quality.
