Abstract:

The inter-domain routing system based on BGP is the key muting infrastructure of the Internet. Currently it is prone to imprudence errors and is menaced by many aggressive attacks. Security monitoring is an important method to enhance the health and security of inter-domain muting. This paper describes the design and implementation of a visualization system ISPView for inter-domain routing monitoring. An improved mechanical model of magnetic-spring is used for realtime displaying of large-scale topology. By applying the two methods above to ISPView, we can display the topology of the network it' di ifferent granularities, demonstrate the security state of the routing system dynamically as well as monitor abnormal behaviors in the BGP routing system
