Abstract:

The Adapter-Based Software-Bus Architecture （ABSBA） has the properties of clearness and simpleness, which makes it convenient to specify the relations between components. The article lists the regular relations between components, introduces ABSBA to software production lines, discusses the implemen tation mechanism under the ABSBA framework, and utilizes an adapter to assemble the compoents. Then the structure and generation of adapters are described. Finallly, an example is given using XML.
