Abstract:
The significance of directory service in distributed computing is discussed. It is emphasized that directory service is similarly suitable for distributed objects techniques. The conception of storage technique for the objects (i. e. the serialized storage technique) in networks is analyzed. By an iinstance (computing for circle ratio accurately) and OpenLDAP (a directory servicer), an experimental system is designed and its feasibility and applicability are validated. The characteristics of the CORBA object technique are discussed specially. Part of the kev codes are offered for the readers.
Key words: directory service, distributed object, CORBA object, OpenLDAP
