Abstract:
An anticollision algorithm is very important in the RFID systems. The present DBS protocol is good for passive tags. However, in the real world, there is a high probability of the existence of a weak tag due to the long distance. The existing DBS is not robust against this problem. This paper presents a novel robust dynamically slotted anticollision algorithm based upon DBS. We suggest an uncertain queue to solve this problem based on DBS. The results show that the total number of identifications is reduced by 55% using this method compared to the conventional BSA with a good performance in robustness.
