Abstract:
As a new paradigm that provides new modularity constructs on top of objectoriented languages, Aspectoriented programming (AOP) was mainly applied in software domain previously. In this paper, we present a novel and synergistic approach to efficiently create systemlevel hardware prototypes based on AspectC++ and SystemC. This approach can be used in the hardware design space exploration. A case study on a 32bit adder is performed to demonstrate the efficiency of our methodology.
