Abstract:
MIMO-OFDM system suffers from ICI caused by frequency offset.The traditional ICI self-cancellation scheme is simple and efficient,but there is a low utilization level for bandwidth.Compared with the traditional ICI self-cancellation scheme,the ICI selfcancellation scheme based on differential coding improves the spectral efficiency,but has a higher BER.So we propose ICI selfcancellation scheme based on a combination of symbols which transmits original symbols,the combination symbols and the original symbols of adjacent symbols respectively in the adjacent sub-carriers,and the received symbols further reduce ICI by using addition or subtraction at the receiver.Simulations show that,compared with the ICI self-cancellation scheme based on differential coding, this scheme can not only suppress the ICI,but also reduce BER performance;compared with traditional ICI self-cancellation scheme,the proposed scheme improves the system’s bandwidth efficiency.This method makes a good balance between ICI suppression,BER performance reduction and the bandwidth efficiency.
