Abstract:
Complicated contents,theoretical knowledge and high level abstraction are the main characteristics of Compiling Principle course.Considering the actual situation of the students’heavy study burden and deficient learning effect,based on the advantage and disadvantage analysis of the course contents,teaching methods and experiments practice,this paper gives a discussion of some reform experience on the methods of course examination. To examine the students' ability and lighten their study burden, we rearrange the course contents and divide the final examinations into several phases according to the actual learning context;to obtain a more effective evaluation and cultivate the students’communication skills,we take‘report + thesis defense’ form as the main assessment method for experimental courses.These examination reform approaches emphasize on ability evaluation,and practical teaching shows that the proposed methods improve both the teaching and learning.
