“university computer foundation” course is a public foundational compulsory course in military academies. In traditional teaching process, there are several problems such as insufficient self-learning ability of students, uneven development of learning ability, less interaction between teachers and students, too many knowledge points, and weak links between chapters, and difficulty of systematically mastering the course. Aiming at the above problems, MOOC is introduced to improve the teaching quality of “university computer foundation” course in military academies. This paper expounds the construction conditions, construction process and implementation methods of “university computer foundation” MOOC course.
