Impact of computer assisted instruction on English teaching

Abstract:

Access to multimedia equipment for students is a great change in education, which is a representative of the best science and technology, and has a strong impact on traditional classrooms. It brings us optimized teaching modes, and improves  Engilishteaching quality.However,it also introduces some adverse effects on the teaching of English. This paper reviews the significance and advantages of CAI access to the classroom. In addition, we discuss the negative impact of the overuse of computer aided equipment on English teaching based on the characteristics of this course, and propose some countermeasures.
